Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Tab 7.7 Andoid tablet the model that brings a dual-core processor and Super AMOLED, with its 1280 x 800 dpi touchscreen, the company is claimed to be the world's first display resolution on a 7.7in tablet.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 display uses the compay's active matrix organic light-emitting diode technology, which Samsung says will mean good contrast, brightness, and colors. The resolution--1280x800 with a 7.7-inch diagonal--is a bit bigger than the original 7-inch Galaxy Tab that debuted a year ago with a 1280x600 resolution

 

The tablet features includes a dual core 1.4GHz processor, runs Android 3.2 (Honeycomb). Galaxy Tab is available in 16, 32 and 64 GB capabilities with option of micro SD expansion of up to 32 GB and has 8GB of RAM. A-GPS is on-board along with 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi and like earlier Tabs and can be used as the phone also.


Its display capable of showing 1080p videos at full-resolution at 30fps with format support including MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV, DivX, Xvid.

At 197 x 133 x 8mm and 335g, this slimline tablet also packs a 5100mAh battery that’s apparently good for 10 hours. UK availability has yet to be confirmed,
