Apple announced its next gen iPad today called "new iPad", the device powered with a better and faster processor, has Retina Display, and better camera than iPad2. Weather is worth upgrading your old iPad or not let see the review. The new iPad will be available on 16th march.
The Design
The new iPad measuring at 241.2 x 185.7 x 9.4mm thick and 652g in weight (662g for the Wi-Fi+4G version which is 51g over the Wi-Fi-only iPad2) . As before, there's still the 30 pin dock connector, and is available in black and white. The graphics, text, icons is very sharp that you have ever seen, the device is perfect everything look stunning.
Although is hard to notice, but on paper the new iPad is 0.11 pounds heavier than the existing iPad 2. In the hand the brushed aluminum chassis which feels much the same as before, although the picture quality is so crisp it looks like a promotional mock-up. Viewing angles are huge, too, certainly on a par with what seen from Super AMOLED panels.
Comparing to iPad 2 is hard to tell the different physically between the two, apart from the thickness and the weigh which is not much difference. Though it does have a slight bump in thickness, the difference is nearly unnoticeable. Since the design hasn't dramatically changed, there's not much to note in the casing department, and though there are improved cameras present, the general seating and size of the sensors seems unchanged.
Would iPad 2 users need to upgrade? probably not but if you have the original iPad is time to upgrade as you will notice the difference.
Power Engine
The new iPad is powered with quad-core A5X chip, the processor is still a dual-core, but graphics is quad-core (The X stands for quad-core graphics). Technical the processor is the same as iPad2 but the difference is in iPad2 the graphics uses the same processor but with the New iPad, Apple added four core just for the graphics, yet it delivers the same smoothness and fluidity iPad is known for. This means this new ipad will be a bit faster and smooth than the iPad2. There is zero lag when apps loading and multitasking flipping through.
The new iPad running on 1GB of RAM which isn’t particularly surprising, as the 512MB in the iPad 2 is starting to look positively last-gen. The combination of a souped-up dual-core chip and double the RAM should make for a tablet that packs plenty of speed.
To have more core does not mean the tablet will be better or run faster, you will still need software that is built to support those extra cores. iOS 6 would be a good time to adapt the software for a quad-core processor, and it will likely make its debut with the iPhone 5. Ergo, A5X in the new iPad and A6 in the iPhone 5 makes perfect sense.
Battery
The new iPad feature a higher resolution retina display than the first and second generation iPads, with four times the pixels and quad-core graphics it would obviously require a more powerful battery, but the good news is, you will still get 10hours of battery life and 9 hours on 3G.
The display
Components orders from both screen and backlit units manufacturers strongly suggest that the new iPad include a 9.7-inch high resolution (2048 x 1536) display pixels resolution LED-backlit IPS Retina Display with 264ppi. This is double the current screen resolution of the iPad 2 (1024x769). The resolution doubling makes it easier on developers, as a clean multiple is always easier to adapt visuals for than a fraction. This makes Text sharper than a newspaper, photos look incredible, fonts look amazing. The vitual is amazing that all we can say.
The new iPad display end up with a 264 dots per inch (DPI) display, which is technically less impressive than the iPhone 4S's 326 DPI. This may not be a critical drop in resolution by comparison because you'll probably hold the new iPad a little further from your face , thus brading it “Retina.”
The color have been improved the device has 40 percent better color saturation and an astounding 3.1 million pixels in the same 9.7-inch space. That’s four times the number of pixels in iPad 2 and a million more than an HDTV. But it's a shame not to see the same crisp standards across the full iOS range. Still, your old apps should scale up to fit the new screen without a hitch while developers prepare their updates in HD.

This makes the new iPad the highest-resolution tablet on the market to-date. By comparison, the Transformer Prime and Galaxy Tab 10.1 both have 1280×800 resolution at 10.1 inches (150 pixels per inch). The pixels in the 2048 x 1536 display are, at regular arm’s length, completely indistinguishable from iPad 2: it’s only when you get up close that you can make them out.
Much like with the iPhone 4′s shift to a retina display, all standard text will be automatically adjusted for the new resolution. Images, of course, will have to be added by individual developers, but we have a feeling many have already been preparing for this ocassion.
Watching video on this large Retina display is perfect . It's resolution independent, so zoom in as far as you like, the flower he's drawing stays clean. Can export images greater than 100 megapixels.

Camera
Most of us we think having camera on a tablet is just stupid but is still nice to have the ability to capture image with your tablet. The device has 5MP iSight rear camera, VGA (640 x 480) and HD video recording in 1080p resolution. And with automatic video stabilisation, your recording is free of bumps and shakes.
The new iPad might be an unwieldy snapper when you compare it to the iPhone 4S, but iLounge also claims that the new model will sport the same camera as its pocket-sized brother. Even better, the front-facing camera should see a resolution upgrade, given that FaceTime chats will now take place on an HD display.
The iSight camera features a backside illumination sensor that captures nice looking pictures whether by sunlight or candlelight. Autofocus, tap to focus and tap to set exposure functions mean every photo you take instantly becomes a frame-worthy gem. And with built-in face detection that automatically balances focus and exposure across up to 10 faces, there’s more room for more grins.

Other features include Auto-exposure, auto-focus, auto-face detection, great edge-to-edge detail, AF-lock.
Cropping images is quick and easy, and it's a tap to go back to the untouched original. Very fluid and intuitive. Tapping in a specific area lets you adjust specific areas of the image. Touch and drag to brighten up the dark areas in an underexposed image, then touch again in the sky to tweak the saturation.Very simple, easy gestures. To tweak white balance, you just tap on what is skin and the app automatically adjusts the balance.
Most of us thinks Megapixels matter but the truth is the quality of a photo is determined by other things too, such as camera’s optics, image signal processor and software. Apple intruduce the iSight camera, which uses advanced optics to give you the best picture possible. iSight offering backside illumination, a five element lens, hybrid IR filter and Apple's proprietary ISP. It's essentially the same as found on the iPhone 4S, with a few alterations here and there. Face detection has been added this time around as well.
With an ƒ/2.4 aperture and a five-element lens, it captures light efficiently to produce a sharper overall image. And the hybrid infrared filter typically reserved for expensive SLR cameras keeps out harmful IR light for more accurate, uniform colours.
iPad as a personal hotspot
Finaly now you can use your iPad as a personal hotspot, can connect up to five devices, means you can share the high-speed data connection on your iPad. But this depends on your carrier whether they supports it.

Software
All the software look gorgeous and take full advantage of that Retina Display. Everything’s been fully updated to take full advantage of that amazing color and resolution. There is no Siri unfortunatly but Apple added voice dictation mode with speech recognition instead.
With speech recognition you can write an email, Send a text, Search the web, Create a note, Or tweet a thought. All this can be done with only your voice. Instead of typing, tap the microphone icon on the keyboard.
Then say what you want to say while your iPad listens. Tap Done and, just like that, your spoken words become written words. Dictation also works with third-party apps, so you can do things like update your Facebook status.
