Samsung Galaxy S Advance, officially announced on Monday and already up for pre-order. An variant of the original Galaxy S, the Galaxy S Advance I9070 is scheduled to drop roughly at the same time as the Barcelona mobile show, according to UK retailer with pre-orders priced at £295 plus tax. With a 1GHz dual-core processor paired with 768MB of RAM, more faster than the single-core 1GHz in the original Galaxy S, but slower than the 1.2 GHz dual-core system-on-a-chip in the S II, so dont expect to see the speed of S2 hereas you will notice the speed when skipping through the seven home screens and browsing through the apps. When browing the internet the pages were quite slow to load although looks fab once is loaded.

The Display Samsung I9070 Galaxy S Advance cell phone packing 4-inch Super AMOLED capacitive Touch screen with 16M colors ,running at WVGA resolution. Size of the display is 480 x 800 pixels, 4.0 inches (233 ppi pixel densities). Multi-Touch Screen & Touch sensitive controls are available. It includes protection with Corning Gorilla Glass & it contains TouchWiz 4.0 UI. The Design Taking design ideas from the Nexus, the S Advance has a slightly curved body and screen, making it stick to your face a tad more comfortably when you're making calls. The S Advance measures at 9.7mm thick, although is not the slimmest phone available compare to the ultra-skinny 6.7mm of the Huawei Ascend P1S, but we're hoping that added bulk will result in a lower price tag.

You will find a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom of the Galaxy S Advance instead of the top of the phone, means to plug in your head phones the device will have to be upside down in your pocket which is odd. The TouchWiz keyboard isn't the best in terms of layout so far.

Samsung I9070 Galaxy S Advance cell phone consists of 8GB or 16 GB internal storage, 768 MB RAM & 2 GB ROM as internal memory. It has Micro SD card slot up to 32 GB.

The 5MP, 2592 x 1944 pixels. Video calling, video recording, Digital Zoom, Touch Focus, Auto focus, Geo-Tagging, Cartoon, Image stabilization, LED flash and Face & Smile detection are also included. Video facility is (720p@30fps) available. It has 1.3 MP cameras secondary.

Once again because of the processor speed which makes the camera to take long to load and there was delay between be able to take a photos, this is due to a slow aito focus features.

Battery

This Galaxy S advance comes with a standard Li-Lon 1500mAh battery which is the best Samsung moble battery. Stand by time up to 750 h for 2G & up to 576 h for 3G. Talk time Up to 13 h 30 min for 2G & up to 6.30 h for 3G. It's very powerful battery.
