The HTC Bass should line up as the Android equivalent of the HTC Titan, one of two Windows Phone devices unveiled on September 1. HTC Bass runs on latest Android 2.3.4 OS (Gingerbread) with HTC Sense UI and powered by 1.5GHz single core processor with 768 MB of DDR2 RAM, and massive 16GB of storage.
The Bass is expected to feature an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual-LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera – although the optics could be subject to change.
HTC’s new Android smartphone may boast the same 4.7-inch WVGA capacitive screen 480×800 pixel display, 1080P video recording and could become the second Beats-enabled Android smartphone to launch in just over a month.
HTC Bass also has features like music player, FM radio and 3.5 mm jack. It has external memory support through micro SD card slot. It also has support for Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi and GPS data connectivity. It is powered by 1600 mAh standard battery for extra long talk time.
The phone will come with Beats technology like the Sensation XE exept for the screen size. Sensation XE pre-order price is £500, this means te Bass is likely to be slightly cheaper.
