Asus' Eee Pad Transformer Prime managed to nock out Apple iPad 2, now let see if Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be able to compete with Eee Pad Transformer Prime. Asus' Eee Pad Transformer Prime is a tablet that will have a lot of publicity in the run up to its expected December release.
The Display
1st: Galaxy Tab 10.1 : 10.1-in, Super AMOLED display, 1280×800, 149 PPI
2nd: Transformer Prime: 10-in, Super LCD display, 1280 x 800, 149 PPI
The Asus Eee Transformer Prime ships with a 10.1-inch Super IPS+ LCD display with a resolution of 1280x800 and a pixel density of 149PPI (the same as Galaxy Tab), which is well above average in the current market, but Sumsung is still boasting with Super AMOLED display
Software
Tie: Transformer Prime: Android Honeycomb
Tie: Galaxy Tab 2 : Android Honeycomb 3.1
Both tablets run on Google's very capable Android operating system, specifically version 3 (Honeycomb) which has been optimised to provide a solid experience on tablets.

Camera
1st: Transformer Prime:8MP rear, LED flash, 3264x2448 , 1080p video campture, 1.2 front camera
2nd: Galaxy Tab 10.1 :3MP rear, front 2MP, with 1080p recording
Galaxy comes with only 3MP rear camera and a secondary 2-megapixel camera for video calling. The camera is not bad for the tablet but when comes to Asus with 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging and 1080P video capture, as well as a secondary 1.2-megapixel snapper for video calling.
Images and videos produced by the Asus were way above our expectation and, in our opinion, the best quality that we've seen on any Android tablet to date.
Winner - Asus Eee Transformer Prime
The Design
1st :Galaxy Tab 10.1 : 257 x 173 x 8.7 mm, 19.9 oz/ 559g
2nd: Transformer Prime: 263 x 180.8 x 8.3mm, 586g
Galaxy is slightly lighter than the Prime , but the Prime nicely sized and spaced bezel around the screen, elegantly shaped corners and a svelte 8.3mm thin profile slightly slimmer than Galaxy.
But at 586g the device isnt as light as Galacy 559g although the diference is small

Storage
1st: Transformer Prime: 32GB/64GB SD Card Slot
2nd: Galaxy Tab 10.1 :16GB flash storage
The Asus’ Transformer Prime is much more handsomely equipped on internal storage with options for 32GB or 64GB onboard plus it has a card slot with support for microSD up to 32GB,making it easily the most powerful tablet on the planet right now. Both have 1GB of RAM.
Winner - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime
Power Engine
1st: Transformer Prime: Quad-core1.3GHz running NVidia’s Tegra 3 ARM Cortex-A9
2nd: Galaxy Tab 10.1 : 1GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 with ARM Cortex 9 CPUs & GeForce GPU
Both devices use ARM Cortex-A9 processors but they’re getting very different results thanks to distinctly varying configurations.
the Transformer Prime, Asus has ramped things up a bit, it’s still using NVidia technology but this time it’s the new Tegra 3 ‘Kal El’ chipset, which means a quad core processor clocked slightly faster at 1.3GHz, giving it a huge advantage over any other tablet on the market, and many laptops too.
As you would expect apps run at full-tilt on the device, and games are handled perfectly thanks to the cutting edge graphics technology.
While the Galaxy processor isnt too bad featuring dual-core 1.2GHz performs excellently as a result but with 1.3 quad-core? is a monster
