The Lost Bastile is the place in Dark Soul 2 and can be entered via two entrances;
- â€‹ â€‹â€‹â€‹Taking the ship from No-man's Wharf to the The Lost Bastille
- â€‹ â€‹â€‹ By defeat the Pursuer and then being carried to the lost bastille by an eagle.
Via Eagle fast transport
once you have defeated the pursuer, there is a nest on the right side of courtyard in front of him. Go and interact with it to get to The Lost Bastille.
The you will come across a broken bridge , walk along the left ledge of the bridge, which goes around the far side of the building. Collect the radiant life gen and Titanite Shard from a corpse.
As you pass watch out there is a knight standing by the window, make sure you keep your shield up. take care of him and then drop the fire barrel down to kill the dogs below. Collect the Covetous Serpent and Antiquated Key (this key enables you to open a door to the room on this level for you to loot) from the chest in this area.
Proceed to the left on the walkway until reach a tower guarded by a sentry. Take it out and then talk to Lucatiel.
Via the Ship from No-Mans Wharf
Also you can reach Bastile rocky shore via the ship from the No-man Wharf. Once you reach this place, follow the path to reach prison ward. Locate a broken prison door on the left, then enter to light the bonfire. grab the items from this room such as radiant lifegem,common fruit and soul of a proud knight
Leave the place and proceed ahead until you encounter a non-hostile knight. Take him out if you want and grab the Hield Spear then you move forward and drop off the ruined ledge. Keep going along the path to the right where you can collect human effigy from a corpse. Backtrack back to the place where you drop off and proceed to an open court.
There is a sentry hiding on the scaffolding along with the two dog enemies above. Once you have clear the place destroy the scaffolding the one sentry was on it and continue down the alley. You will find a chest with large titanite shard and estus shard
