In the Memories section of Dark Souls 2 takes the player through a number of familiar environs modified by the memories of great elder beings. The player can explore the ancient past and learn the secrets of the old world by using the power of the Ashen Mist Heart.
You must first get the Ashen Mist Heart to access these worlds. This is obtained from the Ancient Dragon at the top of the Dragon Shrine. Once you have obtained it head to the Forest of Fallen Giants. You will come across 3 dead giants that have become trees. Get close to them to get into their memories and learn about the past.
After The Pursuer boss fight area you will find the first giant. This giant will take you to the Memory of Orro, which is pretty much straight forward area with some soul items to be collected along with a Soul of a Giant.
The second Giant is found near the Cardinal Tower bonfire. Go down the ladder, turn right, cross the bridge and then go to the area with the ornate door. You need a King's Ring to open this door, which is the way to the Place Unbeknownst bonfire, where the Memory of Jeighstage holds the Giant Lord boss fight.
The last memory is the Memory of Jeigh, Benhart of Jugo can be summoned for the Giant Lord boss fight. You need to go past the Giants, then dodge the fire balls, and watch out for the rolling head just before the boss fight.
Once you have defeated all Giant Lord, you can explore the memory of one more Giant, the Memory of Vammar. This can be found near the Cardinal Tower bonfire. Go through the destroyed wall and then turn left down the stairs. As you facing the Turtle knight, go to the right and proceed until when see the dead Giant. but make sure you have strong weapon or powerful magic before entering this world. Once you get past the the giants, go and collect some items including the Soul of a Giant in this level.
The Giant Lord is one of the Dark Souls 2 Boss who found in the past, within the memory of a fallen giant.
The Giant seems to be resistant to many forms of damage.
This boss is massive his attacks are very hard by slow, hence giving you time to dodge them. Dot bother blocking, it is best to side step and roll out of his attack.
When he launch an overhead swing, dodge it and then run toward his feet. It is best to stay around his feet throughout the battle to be able to evade most attacks.
Step away when he launch a foot slamming attack. From time to time you will get hit by his club swings but try your best to dodge.
For ranged characters, this battle may be a bit tough. You have two options to either to stay at range and keep dodging the attacks or try to get under his feet and cast spell from there. Come with your powerful spells.
